Judgment Five of Swords and Six Coins

Judgment
Position: Situation
Main (positional) Meaning:
A dramatic wake-up call is getting the attention of your circle.

The card that lands in the Situation position refers to social or circumstantial factors which could be affecting your life at this time.

With the Judgment card in this position, it's as if you and the people around you are coming out of a profound trance. You are gaining greater powers of discernment about the interrelationships that support all life, thus breaking through barriers that formerly divided you.

Looking at everything with fresh eyes, you can re-evaluate current conditions with renewed zeal toward the common good. In this way, you can reclaim your place in the long chain of awakening souls stretching throughout the ages. The circumstances are extraordinary for evoking simultaneous awakening across an entire group. By all means, take advantage of them.

Five of Swords
Position: Self
Main (positional) Meaning:
A feeling of imbalance and negativity prevails.

The card in the Self position reveals aspects of how you perceive yourself right now.

With the Five of Swords in this position, you are internally conflicted, in a state of imbalance. You could say one part of you is odd and one part of you is even. An unequal split characterizes any division of the number five.

The result of the imbalance is stress, friction and confusion. Your interior dialogue may be combative, defensive, shaming and blaming. You feel that whatever you do isn't quite good enough. Self-doubt may undermine your confidence. It seems that everything is against you. Negative thinking is an easy tendency at a time like this, as if you have internalized a critical parent who is continually harping at you.

Six of Coins
Position: Challenges/ Opportunities
Main (positional) Meaning:
Give a hand up to those who are willing to improve their situation, but don't nurture dependence.

The card that lands in the Challenges/Opportunities position refers to ways that you can turn obstacles into stepping stones.

The Six of Coins in this position bids you to find a way to be helpful without creating dependence. It is a challenge to detach oneself enough from the outcome of one's own efforts to promote self-sufficiency and success among others.

In some situations people need assistance or support, and it is good to help them. But if we spend our energy doing for those who can help themselves, we are actually performing a disservice. Your best contribution will not result from saving or rescuing others. Your best contribution lies in encouraging and challenging others to rise above their current limits. See if there is a way you can create incentives for higher performance.
