In my opinion, marriage is something sacred, something beautiful! You should be with someone that you can't wait to come home to - someone who you will want to sleep next to - wake up next to! Not only your significant other - but a best friend! Don't you want to feel the love when you are both staring into each others eyes! You live once...why not live it with someone that makes your heart pound..your palms sweat...! I'm not saying that its all about love - of coarse you have to be compatible with the person! You need common interests to keep the fire burning! It's all a compromise but your willing to do that when you love someone.
Don't ever get married just because you 'like' someone. Don't get caught up in 'getting married' - its always exciting thinking about that 'day', so don't let that make your decision or other factors make your decision to be with this person. I say you go out there and find Mr./Mrs. Right - someone that you love....its an incredible feeling. Don't settle because you will be kicking yourself one day! And that day will come soon after the 'wedding'...trust me!

A cyberslacker ? are u
If you work with a talkative extrovert, you may be working with a world-class cyberslacker according to a study conducted by Australia's Monash University.
Doctor James Phillips and researcher Kerryann Wyatt at Monash University found five personality traits could help determine through testing who may be more likely to be a cyberslacker, someone more interested in surfing the web or sending emails than actually working in the office.
Unsurprisingly, extroverts stand at the front of the class (or is that the back of the class while tapping out an instant message?) when it comes to cyberslacking. Monash provided some more details about personalities and who does what when they should be cranking out TPS reports:
The study found that people with extroverted personalities sent more work and non work-related emails, while people with less agreeable personalities were likely to spend more time on the internet. People who were open to experience were more likely to spend time searching the net for work-related reasons.
"Extroverted employees particularly are abusing their internet privileges, spending reduced amounts of time working and so reducing productivity," (Wyatt) said.
Lack of supervisory oversight and poorly constructed business Internet usage policies contribute to the problem, Wyatt noted in a statement. Sending emails and conducting web searches topped the list of workplace abuse.

Berawal dari incoming call tadi siang, yg tiba tiba menanyakan apakah gue bisa membuat weblog. ya dengan cepat aja gue jawab gue bisa. walaupun belum jelas mo ada apa. tapi kayanya sih bakal ada kerjaan untuk membuat weblog. Tapi weblog yg dimaksud pun belom tahu bentuknya akan spt apa.
Sedangkan gue sendiri dah dari lama pengen blajar php dan mysql. but secara native mrk brangkat dari unix enviroment. sedangkan gue sendiri punyanya windows platform. so tadi iseng aja download semua file yg gua butuhin dari mulai apache, mysql dan juga php nya .. itung itung buat iseng iseng dirumah nantinya.
belom gue install sih tapi skarang sudah mulai cari tutorialnya dan kebetulan juga dirumah gue kayanya gue ada cd cd e-book php dan mysql. maybe im too late .. but for learning something there is no late.
mudah mudah laptop gue kuat :D

hard stubborn solaris
dah seharian ini gue di kerjain sama ini Solaris. berawal dari setting kernel yg gak beres sampe set DISPLAY dan ber ending pada timezone. damn .. gue dah dari awal emang gak gitu confident buat setup di solaris. tapi apa daya .. orang yg harusnya bertanggung jawab akhirnya give up dan semua di delegate ke gue. another tic tac toe games. doit or die ...
bolak balik dari ruangan datacenter ke project office. ditengah bekunya ac yg gila gilaan. ini aja gue pake baju 4 lapis. badan gue sih anget tapi kaki gue beku. dan ini aja dari tadi gue harus berusaha agar tangan gue bisa bergerak terus. agar gak beku krn tangan gue dah sedikit rematik.
akhirnya back to basic deh .. troubleshooting. pertama gue check di kernel parameter. ternyata ada satu line yg belum di update. setelah gue update kernelnya kemudian next problem muncul. ternyata xhost + nya error begitu di check ternyata di /etc/hosts nya blom brubah krn kemaren ada perubahan hostname. gue editlagi disitu .. and ngulangin installasinya . sejenak gue dah bisa seneng but .. there is another problem arose ... timezone !!! shit .. fucked up banged .. timezone di solaris beda dgn di ehealth. dan gue harus setting agar solarisnya mengikutin kemauan ehealth. .. n akhirnya bisa juga ..
but it not the end ... skarang Ip nya hilang ... gue check di ifconfig. cn0 nya 0.0.0.0 .. bah .. edit lagi utak atik .. now dia dapet ip .. so i back to my seat di project office dan trying to telnet .. but .. shit .. skarang gak mo di telnet ....

sesaat aku masih bingung dengan arti sms tersebut dan kemudian gue telpon rico. what does it mean ?
"maksud elo apa ?"
" gak ada "
" gak ada gimana maksud elo apa ? "
" ya gak ada ... , "

" kok bisa ? "
" dia nyangkut, anak gue kan sungsang, ya gak tertolong "
" knapa gak di operasi ?"
" tadi di coba cara manual, tapi ternyata nyangkut dan ... , sudahlah .. im ok, ntar tolong kabarin om larto.
aku cuma bisa terdiam, sesaat aku tak tahu dan gak bisa berpikir tentang kabar yang baru aku terima. dan kemudian gue mikir why smua bisa kaya gini. gue gak tahu siapa yg harus di salahin. krn mereka cerita kalo anaknya rico emang sungsang dan knapa mereka gak deteksi lagi ato di USG lagi. diawali dengan misscalculation waktu, dan kemudian firasat aneh. dan knapa cuma Yoka yg mendapat pesan. dan knapa bukan gue yg mendapat pesan tersebut. dan sesaat pada mama datang, kembali aku harus melihat mama menangis lagi dalam pelukanku. untuk yang kesekian kalinya dia kembali menangis lagi.
rico dan indah yg semuanya gak ada masalah diawal. berjalan lancar sesuai dengan keinginan mama n papa, tapi knapa mereka skarang harus mendapatkan semua spt ini. knapa gak di gua aja yg skarang pun sudah mengecewakan mereka berdua.

sebenernya ada dua kemaren, setelah kelar download POD tapi ternyata filenya gak bisa di buka eh gak sengaja malah dapet Fort Minor, Bondan dan TATU. ini hari download Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil. mudah mudahan sih bisa dapet komplit 1 album. dan juga secara antri gue kudu nunggu atu atu untuk kelarin Keroncong Chaos gue.

Losing their best lyricist could have easily caused the brash collective to fold. What did they do? Eazy talked even more reckless, Ren spit harder and Dre began to perfect his production craft.
#6: Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt
Obviously Jay-Z grew as an artist since his entrance into the game; however, he pieced together a flawless masterpiece the first time around. It was the hustlers' soundtrack, but even if you had that legit income, you had no choice but to be captivated by Hov's words.

They already put Queens on the map, and this album put hip-hop on the globe. Kids from Asia and Africa as well as America were throwing on their Adidas and Lee jeans to be like Run, DMC and Jam Master Jay. Run-DMC also opened the doors for the rock and roll/hip-hop hybrids that maintain status on the charts today
#4: Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die
Biggie mastered the game. Like Chuck D, his voice was so unique that all he had to do was utter an ad-lib like "Ugh" and you automatically knew it was him. Match that with rhymes that left most lyricists with sleepless nights and a delivery that flowed like a 1987 L.A. Lakers fast break and you have the impeccable birth of one of hip-hop's most beloved geniuses.

Arguably the best produced hip-hop album ever. Dr. Dre gave Snoop Dogg a full-thrust introduction to the universe, and the two proved to be hip-hop's most formidable duo.

Illmatic could have easily been called The Blueprint when it was released in 1994. Nas used five of the best producers at the time to lay the soundscape for his groundbreaking lyricism, creating the new hip-hop LP template. He was heralded as the second coming of Rakim.

With all the arguments our brain trust had during this endeavor to come up with the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, you would think that it would have been a knock-down, drag-out affair when it came to declaring numero uno, right? Nope. When the tally was finally done and it became clear that Paid in Full was #1, not a peep was heard.

Kurban ... antara kewajiban dan keikhlasan
ini hari gue ngelakuin hal yg sudah lama gak pernah gua lakuin. sesuatu yg dulu sering gua lakuin bareng anak anak kampung gue. dan ini sudah merupakan kebiasaan kita dari dulu.
today adalah lebaran haji atau kadang disebut juga lebaran kurban. dimana orang orang muslim akan melakukan kurban mereka dengan cara menyisihkan sebagian dari materi mereka dan memberikan kepada tetangga sekitarnya. Secara kebiasaan dulu kita biasanya rame rame nongkrongin dimana ada pemotongan hewan kurban. dan biasanya identik dengan kambing. dengan harapan kita akan mendapat bagian daging kurban tersebut dan kemudian kita akan bikin sate dan dimakan rame rame.
just like today, hari ini gue dapet 2 kantong plastik kambing dan kemudian gue sama anak anak bikin sate dirumah. dan makan rame rame. dagingnya di bumbuin dengan bumbu seadanya tapi tetep aja rasanya enak, dan juga rasa kebersamaan kita dengan memasaknya rame rame.
well di luar dari "ritual" bakar sate tersebut, sebenarnya knapa hewan kurban tersebut kambing. dan menurut ajaran agama yang dulu pernah gue pelajari. saat Abraham yang di uji kesetiaanya untuk mengorbankan anaknya sendiri sebagai persembahan. padahal anak tersebut adalah anak satu satunya. Tapi karena kesetiaan Abraham maka ia pun tetap melaksanakan perintah dari Tuhan, untuk mengorbankan anaknya Ismael. Pada saat pelaksanaanya akhirnya Tuhan melihat kesetiaan Abraham kepadaNya, kemudian Ismael digantikan oleh seekor Domba. dan kemudian Tuhan memberikan janjiNya kepada Abraham dengan suatu berkat bahwa keturunanya akan merupakan keturunan yang dihormati di muka bumi dan menjadikan sebuah bangsa yang besar, dan kelak keturunannya disebut Israel. dan hingga sekarang Israel merupakan negara yang diberkati oleh Tuhan. Ntah gimana cerita selanjutnya tapi memang Israel merupakan bangsa yang besar hingga sekarang.
Jika dilihat secara logika tentang ajaran agama mengenai pengorbanan yang dulu dilakukan oleh Abraham dengan apa yang dilakukan dengan orang orang sekarang ada satu garis besar yang menekankan bahwa hendaknya orang melakukan pengorbanan dengan keikhlasan dan sepenuh hati karena sebagaimana Tuhan juga memberikan janjiNya kepada kita. tapi penerapannya di dunia ternyata masih banyak orang yang melakukan atau memberikan kurban hanyalah sebagai suatu kewajiban rutin yang harus dijalankan bukan dari kerelaan melakukan. walaupun dalam diri mereka mungkin dengan penuh rela dan ikhlas melakukan kurban tapi kenapa mereka hanya melakukan pada saat tertentu bukan pada kapan saja mereka mau ?
dan akhirnya acara ini pun menjadi suatu rutinitas setiap tahun dan wajib ?
Gue yang secara tidak lagi begitu melakukan suatu ajaran agama dengan sepenuh hati, kadang kala timbul dalam hati gue .. why people doing something based on sesuatu yg di doktrinkan untuk harus dijalankan hanya karena takut dengan segala resiko yang mungkin terjadi. Tapi bukan karena kehendak dari dalam hati. Dan gue rasa God know better mana yang dilakukan karena orang tersebut memang benar benar mau melakukan sesuatu bukan karena orang harus melakukan karena takut dengan resiko yang akan dijatuhkan oleh Tuhannya.

RUU Pornografi dan Pornoaksi .. another absurd regulation
ini lagi ada pembahasan baru, mengenari RUU pornografi dan pornoaksi. kalo mengenai pornografi maybe sudah jelas. yg berkaitan dengan gambar telanjang upto 80 % sudah bisa masuk kedalam kategori pornografi. tapi kalo pornoaksi ?
Menurut mereka semua gerakan / aksi yang sengaja maupun tidak sengaja yang menunjukan gerakan sensualitas ataupun mengundang rangsangan terhadap orang yg secara sengaja atau tidak sengaja melihat adalah pornoaksi.
anehnya dalam penerapannya tersebut hal itu adalah tidak jelas batasannya. knapa tidak ? jika dalam surat kabar / media massa yang menyatakan gerakan goyang si Ratu Ngebor Inull atau Goyangan si Anissa Bahar itu disebutkan dalam kategori Pornoaksi mungkin bisa saja dan bisa di anggap wajar. tapi akibatnya jika akhirnya di kenakan dalam kontekstual yg sama .. well bisa bisa patung patung stupa candi peninggalan lama pun bisa di anggap porno dan juga bagaimana dengan penerapan di masyarakat ? apalagi mereka mereka yang dengan merdeka jalan jalan di tempat umum memakai tank top rok mini ? atau tayangan sinetron di tivi tivi yang jelas jelas lebih mempertontonkan "body" bisa bisa semua orang disini kudu pake sarung semua ?
Yang ada malah bisa spt kejadian di Arab atau di Malaysia yang mana disana orang pake tanktop pun bisa masuk penjara. tapi efek samping yang terjadi malah, tingkat kejahatan Pemerkosaan di dua negara tersebut merupakan salah satu yg tertinggi di dunia. Apalagi Arab, orang mana sih yg gak ngerti negara Arab itu seperti apa. tapi kejadiannya malah Raping disana merupakan kejahatan no 1 dna paling tinggi ratenya ..

Yang ada malah bisa spt kejadian di Arab atau di Malaysia yang mana disana orang pake tanktop pun bisa masuk penjara. tapi efek samping yang terjadi malah, tingkat kejahatan Pemerkosaan di dua negara tersebut merupakan salah satu yg tertinggi di dunia. Apalagi Arab, orang mana sih yg gak ngerti negara Arab itu seperti apa. tapi kejadiannya malah Raping disana merupakan kejahatan no 1 dna paling tinggi ratenya ..

Serat Chentini .. Sastra dalam Seks atau Seks Dalam Sastra
Pertama gue mendengar tentang Serat Chentini adalah dari tayangan Fenomena yang menyebutkan "Serat Chentini" sebagai buku pembanding dengan Kamasutra ataupun Tantra. Mendengar hal ini gue jadi tertarik buat mencari tentang buku ini. dan secara gak sengaja aku nemuin buku ini di gramedia. dan ternyata ada 4 buku. sekilas baca prefacenya ternyata sastra jawa ini hanya pernah di translate sekali dan itupun kedalam bahasa prancis ... dan karena ini aku tambah gak abis pikir knapa bisa begitu. well eniwei kita gak bahas nilai historiknya krn gue sendiri baru tahun tentang keberadaan buku ini.
Sekilas setelah gua baca, gua agak kecewa sedikit krn isinya "tidak sama" dengan apa yang gue harepin. tidak ada tentang panduan atau penjelasan yang sama spt Kamasutra pada umumnya. Sedangkan gue yg beroriented bahwa Chentini bakal b erisi tentang panduan secara jawa. tapi ternyata gak sama sekali. yang ada adalah pelajaran pelajaran yang membosankan. secara sekilas buku ini sangat membosankan. walaupun gua juga akhirnya menyelesaikan buku ini dalam waktu kurang dari 1 jam. tapi kemudian gue bepikir kembali .. apakah ini buku isinya hanya Seks melulu .. seperti kamasutra yg gue tahu ataupun Tantra yg pernah gue lihat. kemudian gue berpikir kembali apakah Kamasutra yang asli juga seperti itu ? dan apakah tantra juga seperti halnya buku pedoman tentang seks ? sedangkan yang aku tahu kedua kitab tersebut juga dipelajari oleh orang orang pemuka agama ?
Sepertinya ada salah persepsi di masyarakat dan kemudian ada bbrp orang yg memanfaatkan miss perception tersebut. untuk kepentingan pribadi.
Dan juga setelah gue berbicara dengan orang tua gue mengenai hal ini dimana dulu merupakan hal tabu untuk dibicarakan. tapi agaknya mereka mau gak mau harus bisa berdialog dengan gue mengenai hal tersebut. dan ternyata semua terbuka.
Serat Chentini sendiri menembangkan bagaimana menjalankan hubungan antara suami dan istri secara lahir dan batini, mengenai pencarian Jati diri. di tengah pandangan masyarakat pada umumnya. sedikitnya jika gue pun agak kecewa dengan buku tersebut tapi pada akhirnya gue belajar banyak tentang buku tersebut.
agak susah sekarang buat gue untuk mencari buku buku seperti ini .. - sighs -
